Personal, Social & Emotional Development-Kindergarten

• Learn that school is safe, supportive, enjoyable
• Care for themselves
• Pursue a task independently and finish it
• Assume responsibility for personal belongings and materials
• Make choices and experience consequences of personal decisions
• Initiate, maintain and terminate interactions
• Learn to negotiate conflicts
• Conform to limits set on behavior, play space, use of materials or types of activities

Spiritual Development-Kindergarten

• Participate in daily prayer with whole school
• Learn about God and his love for us
• Sign of the Cross
• Prayers: Our Father, Hail Mary, Grace before meals
• Hymns
• Holy Days
• Attend mass with 8th grade prayer buddy every Friday at 8:30 a.m.
