From the Principal's Desk

It is often said that a classroom is a place where miracles happen. I don’t know if miracles actually happen, but indeed it is a place where students with very different personalities, learning styles, abilities and backgrounds come together to develop the skills that will enable them to prosper throughout their lives. None of this is possible without the presence of dedicated teachers.

St. Elizabeth teachers come to their classrooms and give all their knowledge, their high hopes, their faith, their beliefs, and their hearts. Because of their decision to be teachers in our school, our young people learn important things that will help them build a rich and rewarding life in Christ.

Every day, our teachers face many challenges. Yet, they never give up. They are the ones that work with the children’s families and the community to make St. Elizabeth small enough to care, but big enough to make a difference.

St. Elizabeth is accredited by MNSAA– Michigan Non-Public School Accrediting Association - and this is what the accreditation team said:

“There is a strong sense of Christian-based atmosphere in the school.”

“St. Elizabeth School has a safe welcoming atmosphere and an environment that is attractive and well kept.”

“The pastor is a positive figure in the school.”

Fr. Bill teaching the children

“The faculty has a wonderful rapport with one another and shows strong team support.”

“Students are valued as individuals and are responsible for themselves.”

“The teachers, parents and parishioners work hard to help the administration through various organizations.”

“Teachers go above and beyond their job descriptions to help students in need of additional instruction.”
